Tourism: Oregon’s natural attraction

Oregon attracts tourists from around the world, and many of them come to enjoy the natural beauty of our forests and abundant recreational opportunities in the outdoors. A recent survey by the U.S. Forest Service estimated that there are more than 11 million recreational tourists visiting Oregon’s national forests each year, sustaining nearly 15,000 jobs and contributing an estimated $440 million to the economy.
